A lightweight potting mix optimized for producing top-notch plant starts from seed to transplant. Unique peat-free formula holds water longer than traditional media and naturally re-wets with ease. Rice hulls reduce compaction in root-zone while a suite of organic amendments provide for initial weeks of growth.

IMPORTANT: ALLOW 2 WEEKS FOR MATURATION
Our living soils are blended with active organic amendments and are best used at least 2 weeks after blending. During this period, microbial activity may cause the soil to warm as organic nutrients mineralize. Please order your soil with enough lead time to allow the product to mature before use.
Our products are not sterilized and naturally contain a diverse community of beneficial microorganisms. Under warm, humid conditions, you may occasionally see fungal growth or other biological activity on the surface of the soil. This is normal for living soil and is not a sign that the product is spoiled. Please see FAQ for more.
