A clean, performance compost that you’ve been waiting for! Screened to 3/8” minus for a concentrated, nutrient-dense.

Unlike our signature potting soils, Dirtcraft Compost is not a complete growing mix, its best used for mixing with and amending your existing garden beds. We recommend applying a 2-3″ topdress and working it 6-8” deep into existing soil. Compost can provide organic content and nutrients, and your local soil will provide the mineral content creating a balanced environment for plant growth. Compost also aids in water retention, pH buffering, and stimulation of microbiology.

Disclaimer: Our soils are best used 2 weeks after date of blending, this period is critical for the biology in living soil mixes to mineralize organic amendments. Soils may heat up before stabilizing temperature during this timeframe as well. Please order your soil with enough lead time to allow the product to mature before use. We do not sterilize any of our products during the manufacturing process and as a result it will contain a plethora of beneficial biology, which could include mites, fungus and microbes. Do not be alarmed if you see a flush of mold under the bag cover where condensation collects, this is nature at work.
